The Varsity soccer boys won against the Pittsburg Pirates, in the second round  of playoffs, on Thursday, March 24th under the direction of Coaches Nathan Carroll and Michael Wright.

Sophomore Sael Suazo took the first goal while senior Aram Mijares assisted.

“We played a great game and played really hard and thankfully came out with the win, and I’m very proud my teammates for doing what they had to get done on the field.” said Mijares. “I feel really good going into Round Two. I feel like our team can come out with the win if we play hard and grind during the upcoming practices.”

Senior and front-center Armando Lugo scored the final two goals resulting in a 3-0 victory.

“I’m proud of the way we played against Pittsburgh,” Carroll said. “We did a really good job possessing the ball and I’m proud of the way our seniors lead the team. I’m looking forward to the next round and I’m excited to see what these guys can do.”
