The varsity soccer boys won 6-0 against the Van Vandals and took first, in District, on Friday March 11th under the direction of Coaches Nathan Carroll and Michael Wright.

Senior Aram Mijares made the first goal of the game while sophomore Samuel Sandoval scored second. Senior Armando Lugo, who has recently signed to Clark University, made the last four goals of the game .

“Our entire team has worked hard and we are proud of our student athletes. We are especially excited for our senior class and how much they have done to build our program for the last four years,” Wright said. “This District Championship title is just the first step to our ultimate goal; we are excited for the chance to play in the playoffs as we represent our program, our school, and our community.”

The Bulldogs will play their first round of playoffs on Thursday, March 24th, in Longview, against the Pinetree Pirates.
