The Varsity Volleyball team played Cumberland on Tuesday, Oct. 12th under the direction of coaches Catherine Ripka, Johnetta Preston, and Regina Cooper.

Juniors Dae’Jaidence Kincade scored four points,  Paola Sanchez had seven assists, and Shyla Starks secured thrill kills. The varsity girls won all three sets against the Lady Knights with scores of 25-23, 25-12, and 25-19.

“We started off pretty sluggish, but we finally woke up and played as one,” Kincade said. “We are looking forward to continuing to play as a unit and finish out the season on a good note.”

The Lady Bulldogs will play against Henderson next Tuesday, Oct. 19th in the varsity gym at home.
