In Nacogdoches, the varsity football team played the Livingston Lions on Friday, Sept. 3rd at SFA’s “Homer Bryce Stadium”.

Linebacker Brack Dyer had ten tackles and senior Solomon Macfoy defended six passes with Izaya Brooks. Quarterback Tyler Jones had 336 yards in passing. The Bulldogs won with a final score of 35-15, giving them an undefeated record of 2-0.

“2-0 feels good,” Athletic Director Jeff Riordan said. “We beat a really good team tonight.”

The varsity boys will play against Hallsville on Friday, Sept. 10th at Hallsville High School.
