As a senior class fundraiser, this year’s talent show was sponsored by teachers Haleigh Littleton and Virginia Foster.
Seniors Mimi Ezeigwe and Brady Bagwell were emcees while the feature performer was sophomore Ella Bagwell, last year’s “Chapel Hill’s Got Talent” Grand Champion winner. Talent Show acts included Shania Miller, Jeffrey Reazin, Alanah Wynn, Roberto Anchondo, Gonzalo Tarango, Keziah Knight, Ellie Baraza, Keilah Knight, Bryce Gilpin, Hannah Ritchie, and Kristen Rivers.
Reazin won first place singing “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. Wynn won second placing covering “Jealous” by Labrinth. Knight, Baraza, and Knight won third place singing “Another in the Fire” by Hillsong United.
“I never really expected to win the talent show because I just joined to have fun,” Reazin said. “I guess my sister’s talent rubbed off on me, and I was really glad to finally get to compete this year.”
“Chapel Hill’s Got Talent” plans to return at the start of 2022 when audition dates are announced in January.
