The “Winter Showcase” twirling competition was held on Saturday, March 6th in Shreveport, Louisiana under the direction of sponsors Krystal Miller and Emmanuel Espinoza.

Senior Katherine Adams performed in the Ratings Category for 1 Baton, 2 Batons, and 3 Batons as well as the Competition Category for 1 Baton, 2 Batons, and 3 Batons.

Adams won 1st place in 1 Baton and 3 Baton as well as 3rd place in 2 Baton. She also received a 1st Division Rating on her 2 Baton and 3 Baton routines as well as a 2nd Division Rating on her 1 Baton routine.

“I’m glad that I was able to showcase my routines again,” Adams said. “I’m excited to take the feedback from this competition and apply it for State.”

Following a regional practice competition in Houston on April 24-25, the high school twirlers will virtually compete for State on Memorial Day Weekend.
