The Texas High School Powerlifting Association Boys Regional meet was held Thursday, March 11th at Henderson High School where Jeffrey Reazin, Trey Hudson, and Jaylan Lofters competed under the direction of new coach, Johnny Irvin.

Girls who qualified and competed for Regionals at Mabank High School on Friday, March 5th were Kendalynn Suell, Madison  Bradshaw, Julia Fults, Bailey Aynesworth, Taniya Crumpton, and Brooklyn McGee.  Suell and Bradshaw both advanced and will compete at the State competition.

“I thank god for giving me strength and all of these opportunities to better my life,” Bradshaw said. “It only goes up from here.”

The THSWPA (Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association) State competition will be held in Corpus Christi on Friday, March 19th where Bradshaw and Suell hope to place.
