The girls varsity basketball team were victorious against Palestine on Tuesday, Dec. 29th under the direction of Coach TJ Riley. Sophomore Kya Cook scored 19 points. Senior Alexis Calderon scored 16 points and sophomore Dae’Jaidence Kincade scored 13 points. The Lady Bulldogs grabbed an overtime win with a final score of 63-50.

“It felt really good to get that victory because no one thought we would especially when we were down in the 4th quarter,” Cook said. “It really encouraged me for the season when I got that many points because it showed me I could really play.”
