FFA member and sophomore Travis Williams showed at the White Oak FFA Livestock Show on Saturday, Sept. 26th. Senior Ashlynn Smith exhibited at the Bonham FFA Alumni Livestock Show on Sunday, Sept. 27th. In addition, Hayden Acker showed his heifer, “Shorty”.

Williams won First in Class with his Angus, “Semi” and Second in Class with his Limousin Heifer, “Ginger”. Acker won First in Class with his heifer, and Smith won First in Class and Breed Champion with her Brangus Heifer, “Jolene”.

“During the whole pandemic, Jolene developed an immense amount of muscle and condition,” said Smith. “I am so proud that she has placed as well as she has, and I can’t wait to see how well her and the other student’s heifers place in Waco this weekend”.

FFA students will compete again at the “Heart of Texas Fair” in Waco Sept. 30th- Oct. 3rd.
