The Bass Club competed at the Lake Tyler tournament on Saturday, Sept. 19th with boat captain James Smith, and their sponsor Chad Richardson. Senior Max Richardson and Junior Carter Binning weighed in five fish for a total of 9.39 lbs. As a team, they won 6th place out of over 100 different teams from East Texas.

“I was glad we were doing so good that day, and I personally have never done that well,” said Binning. “Overall, it was a pretty good day. I was so excited that I didn’t get much sleep the night before since I was so nervous.”

The Bass Club will fish in the tournament which will be hosted at Caddo Lake on Saturday, Oct. 10th.
