The Bass Club competed at the Lake Sam Rayburn Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 29th.

Paxton Baxter, Derick Beard, Carter Binning, Brady Johnston, Casey Johnston, Aden Johnston, Max Richardson, and Glenn Smith all weighed in with their catches of the day. Baxter led the team with five fish at 8.53 pounds and he placed 20th overall. Beard and Brady Johnston brought in 2nd place for the team and placed 21st in the tournament with 8.52 pounds. Smith and Richardson caught four fish.

“I am so proud of this team”, said sponsor Joy Johnston. “They are a great group of young men that love what they do and are a great representation of Chapel Hill High School.”

The Bass Club will compete again at Lake Palestine in March.
