UIL students competed in the Whitehouse academic practice meet on Saturday, Jan. 25th. They traveled with UIL coordinator Robert Walsh.

Ready Writing students medaled and are coached by Melissa Avery . Alyssa White placed 3rd, Asia Johnson placed 4th, and Rebecca Westerman placed 5th.

Number Sense students also medaled and are coached by Elizabeth Godden. Pi-Cheng Wu, Isaac Frayre, and Jeffrey Reazin earned 1st place as a team in the small school division where Wu also earned an individual 1st place medal.

Previously, Jacob Ashmore competed in the Lindale practice meet on Saturday, Jan. 18th where he placed 6th in Current Events under the coaching of Haleigh Littleton.

The UIL academic team will compete at the District on Wednesday, March 25th at Spring Hill High School.
