National Signing Day was held in the varsity gym on Wednesday, Feb 5th where three football players signed to local colleges where they committed to play football for their new teams.

Keylen Davis played defensive lineman and was on all special teams coordinates for the Bulldogs. He will be playing outside linebacker for Texas College.

“I am excited and it’s a wonderful feeling”, said Davis. “I am eager to see what the future holds for me.”

Tanner Rudd played quarterback, wide receiver positions, and was the deep snapper for the Bulldog punt team. Rudd will be playing quarterback at Texas College

“I am excited that I am going to college to play quarterback”, said Rudd. “I like the school, and I plan to get a good education where I can focus on business.” 

Keyjun Thomas was on special teams and was an outside linebacker for Chapel Hill. Thomas will be playing wide receiver at Tyler Junior College. 

“I feel good about my dreams coming true”, said Thomas. “I am finally doing something to make my family proud.”
