Varsity Boys Basketball played against the Bullard Panters on Friday, Jan. 10th at Bullard High School under the leadership of former Chapel Hill Bulldog Coach Akimba Johnson.

After a rocky start, junior Amorrian Ford had a successful layup resulting in a foul against him where he got a free throw.

“I feel like we played as a team,” said Ford. “Everyone contributed to the win.”

In the second quarter, senior Chance King pulled his second three-pointer of the night to close the gap from Bullard’s lead.

The Bulldogs went into overtime with a final score of 64-60. They will travel to Henderson High School on Friday, Jan. 17th to battle the Lions.
