Varsity Cheerleader Kortlyn Haley was selected to perform in the New Year’s Eve parade in London, England as an All American Cheerleader. Haley was invited after trying out during summer cheer camp based on her skill and technique.

Out of all the athletes that attend camp, only 12% get the chance to perform in the parade.

“I was excited and nervous because I had never been on a plane,” said Haley. “Cheering with All American Cheerleaders from all over the States was really fun because I made new friends and lots of memories.”

The cheerleaders will participate in try-outs for next year, which will be on Friday, March 6th in the high school gym under the direction of cheer coaches, Alyson Marinitch and Rachel Brumfield.
