Varsity and JV Cheerleaders brought home six trophies from their annual summer camp which was held at Great Wolf Lodge, July 27-30 with first-year sponsor Allyson Maranitch.

The JV squad won 1st place Champions for Overall Cheer.

“We had the most successful year at camp in a very long time with our trophy wins,” said varsity cheerleader Cayden Caruthers. “I am very excited to see how this year’s football season plays out.”

Jenea Travier, KaDreuna Fields, Laci Hackett, Dakota Bonner, Madison Bradshaw, and Kortlyn Hayley made UCA All-American Cheer meaning they are in the Top 10% of the country.

“Being able to make top ten with my fellow cheerleaders was something we can reminisce about once we get older,” said Hackett. “This season is going to be the most fun one yet.”

The varsity squad will cheer in this season’s first football game on Friday, August 30th which will be held at Crandall High School’s football stadium.
