TSA builds State worthy reputation

Technology Students Association (TSA) members competed in the Regional Contest on March, 4th at Carthage High School in Longview.

Christopher Beal and Bradley Forester Structural Design received 2nd place and are advancing to State for their Bridge Building. Katherine Harris, Angelina Acosta, and Keilah Knight received 3rd place in the Technology Bowl and they are advancing to State. Harris also received 4th place for Problem Solving alongside Manuel Greenlee.

“I’m excited to compete in State,” Acosta said. “I put a lot of hard work into studying and I’m glad to see it pay off.”

Ryan Elliott, Jesse Zavala, Harris, Keilah Knight, and Angelina Acosta competed in Model Houses and are advancing to State. Manuel Greenlee and George (Trey) Hudson are advancing to State for the Dragster Design competition.

There are nine drafting projects advancing to State that were made by Angeles Iturvedes, Blain Broyles, and Martin Mondragon. Carlos Aparicio, Jaden Franklin, Blas Lara, David Duran, Daniel Ramirez, and Eduardo Bustos are advancing to State for participating in Woodworking Projects Five Projects.

The State competition will be held on April 26th in Fort Worth.
