One Act Play performed in the Area UIL Competition, which was hosted here at the Terri Procell-Bowen Auditorium on Tuesday, March 5. They performed “The Great Gatsby” play and they advanced to the next level. They are now the District 16 4A Champions under the teaching of Director Blade Healey and assistant Jake Spadie.

Trent Granberry was awarded Tech Honorable Mention.  Robbie Wilt and Mimi Ezeigwe were named All Star Cast. Brady Bagwell also received Honorable Mention while Nathaniel Johnson won Best Actor at District.

“I am so proud of our kids and our show,” said Spadie. “I have the best job in the world.”

The Bi-District competition will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at Sulphur Springs High School. “The Great Gatsby” will be the first to perform at 10 a.m.
