Eddie Jones, under the direction of Robert Boren, traveled to Pre-Area in Jacksonville,TX for the second round of the Texas All Region Choir competition and those who advance from this round will go to the Area competition to compete for a spot in the Texas All State Choir

Jones received 6th chair with a nearly perfect sight reading score of 55 out of 60

“I was so happy when they called my name.” said Jones ” It feels good to see all my hard work pay off and represent my school and music program well.”

Eddie will compete for a spot in the Texas All State Choir on  Saturday, Jan 12th at Carthage High School

“I’m very excited to have Eddie make to Area auditions in the All-State process. He has been diligently preparing for these auditions since July and I am proud that he has advanced through two rounds of Auditions”, said Boren. “I am hopeful that he will be able to make it to State after Auditions in January.”

Jones will compete at Area for a spot in the Texas All State Choir Saturday, Jan 12 at Carthage High School
