The Lady Bulldogs took on the Rusk Eagles in a home game on Tues, Sept 4th under the coaching of Linda Godwin and Catherine Ripka.

“I think the game went well because we kept encouraging each other”, said senior Lakeyvia Hill. “We played hard and we played as a team”.

Last season, Rusk beat the Lady Bulldogs quickly in a set of three. After losing only one senior, prior to this season, the team turned it around and beat Rusk in the third set with a score of 15 to 10.

“I am proud of them for beating Rusk so quickly this year”, said Godwin. “It was quite an accomplishment”.

The Lady Bulldogs will play against the Buckeyes at Gilmer on Fri, Sept 7th.
