English AP teacher, Julia Dahlgren was awarded Teacher of the Month, for April, and she was named the Rotary Club Teacher of the Year for CHISD. This is Dahlgren’s 13th year to teach, and her 7th year to teach at Chapel Hill. She teaches English for juniors in addition to coaching UIL writing.

“I feel honored to be chosen Teacher of the Month,” said Dahlgren. “We have so many amazing teachers at Chapel Hill High School that I feel privileged to be recognized by the district.”

As a recipient Dahlgren will be considered a possible candidate to win teacher of the year for the high school which will, intern, put her in the running for the district teacher of the year.
