Football seniors, Billy Maddox and Hunter Tucker signed to play for Texas College, located in Tyler, beginning in the fall semester. The Bulldogs were led to their opportunity and decision to play for the Steers under the coaching of new Athletic Director, Jason Hooker.

“It feels good to keep going forward chasing my dreams”, said Maddox.

The seniors were presented with their scholarships in front of peers, faculty, and family as they signed the commitment to the Texas College Steers upon their graduation, in May.

“I do it for God, family and the love of the game”, said Tucker

Maddox will continue to play in his previous position as safety and Tucker will continue to play in his previous position as a defensive linebacker. They will begin summer practices this August.
