CTE (Career and Technology Education) culinary program members catered a wedding in Chandler for student teacher, Haleigh Cecil on Jan. 13th. Angel Halsey, Jesus Torres, Madison Rawls, Jennifer Thornton, and Kendale Johnson prepared appetizers and dessert foods under the direction of Chef Leslie Rasco.

“This wedding taught us about our career field,” said Green. “I actually learned how it would be to handle real catering jobs”.

Culinary students will compete at Skills USA’s preliminary event in Waco on Feb. 8-9,. Students who advance will go to State on April 21st.
