Varsity Choir, directed by Vincent Flieder, competed at Solo and Ensemble competition on February 3 at Robert E. Lee High School. Among these students are Eddie Jones, Caleb Otte, Kendale Johnson, Samantha Sibal, Tyra Gordon, and Andrea Scott.

Jones, Otte, Johnson, Sibal, and Gordon received a first division rating and are advancing to State Solo and Ensemble competition. While Scott received a second division rating.

“It was extremely exciting to get a 1 at solo and ensemble and I can’t wait to end my senior year knowing I made it to state 3 years in a row,” said Sibal. “It really is a great experience.”

State Solo and Ensemble competition will take place on May 26.
