Kaitlyn King and Kara Pinkerton compete in Texas Junior Livestock competition. The 2017 Sullivan Supply South Fall Classic took place November 22 to 26 in Waco, Texas. In this competition you can enter a swine, a goat, or a lamb.

“The Fall Classic was a really great experience for me to get the feel of major shows,” said junior Kaitlyn King. “It inspired me to work harder seeing all the other kids around me working their hardest.”

Kaitlyn King placed second in class and Kara Pinkerton also exhibited her Angus & Hereford Heifers.

“There is a show December 16 in Kaufman that we are trying to make happen,” said CTE teacher Kenneth Carnes.

There will be another competition in Fort Worth coming up January 18 to 22 and the Houston Livestock Show Will be taking place in March.
