Lady Bulldogs defeat Raiders

The Chapel Hill Lady Bulldogs basketball team began their season with a 66-20 win against West Rusk, after defeating Whitehouse in their scrimmage.
“This group got better since our last scrimmage against Whitehouse”, said girls head basketball coach, Jeremy Durham. “We got the ‘win’ and we look forward to many more”.
In yesterday’s home game Natalya Overshown scored 9 points, Jenea Travier scored 4, Karlea Duhon scored 19, D’Andreea Berry scored 4, Ty’Liyah Moore scored 20, Shelbee Denson scored 4, and Lamya Green scored 6 points.
” I believe we played this game really well,” said Duhon. “We plan to do nothing but get better.”
Junior Varsity girls also won against the Raiders with a score of 36-4. Chapel Hill will play Lindale at home Tuesday night.
