The FFA Program and the Texas Young Farmers hosted a community cookout on Monday, Sept. 11th. The cookout was a special 9/11 tribute to honor all Firefighters, Law Enforcement, and Military as an opportunity to thank our first responders.

“The Young Farmers/FFA Cookout was a complete success”, said FFA president Kaitlyn King. “The program honored first responders and veterans while introduce the community to the new Ag teachers who want to make our program something great again”.

On Friday, Sept. 29th students will visit We Hope Farm for a hands-on experience with restraint and medical care of cattle.

“We greatly appreciated the community support and loved the opportunity to serve,” said King.
