On Tuesday, April 18 band showcased their $17,000 donation of steel drums on KLTV. Steel drums give off the

The band also received a $3,000 cash donation. All donations were given from Tim McCormick, former operator of Youth Steel Band Foundation.

“We are so excited about this great opportunity,” said Joe Hewitt. “I love this school. I love my job”.

Percussionists plan to incorporate the steel drums into their Spring Concert performance, on May 4th in the Varsity Gym, featuring jazz band, concert band, symphonic band, and honors band.
