Soccer team makes history

For the second year in a row varsity soccer boys have advanced to the 3rd round in playoffs.The Bulldogs competed against Pittsburgh at Pine tree on Tuesday.
Seniors Austin Dobbs and Oscar Espinoza both scored during the first half of the game. Dobbs is a two-year varsity letterman and Espinoza is a four-year varsity letterman.
The Bulldogs were victorious with a score of 2-0. This win advances them to the fourth round in playoffs for the first time in Chapel Hill history.
“It was a great accomplishment for us because we faced a really good team”, said Espinoza. “We were honored to get past the 3rd round”.
They are scheduled to play at Rose stadium in Tyler against Ranchview this Friday night, at 6:30 pm, in the Regional Semi-final game.
