The Lady Bulldog softball team defeated Gilmer 4-1 last night. The Lady Bulldogs improve to 3-0 in district and 13-8 overall on the season.

“Game ball goes to Hannah Mayfield who did a great job catching, threw out Gilmer runners trying to steal, and added to the offensive charge late in the game” said Andrews.

The Lady Bulldogs were behind 0-1 in the sixth inning, but came from behind with 4 runs before the end of the game. They play Spring Hill on Friday in Spring Hill.

“I am very excited to continue on in district and see what the rest of the season brings” 1st baseman Cassidi Sears. “I love my team and the success we have had so far.”
