The Lady Bulldogs beat the Mabank Lady Panthers 68-67 tonight in Frankston in a basketball Area Round playoff game.  Natalya Overshown  scored 3 points, April Walker scored 10 points, Kyia Moore scored 13 points, Ty’Liyah Moore scored 13 points, and  Mykaela Alfred scored 29 points. The final score was 68-67.

“It was a close game that we prepared for”, said Alfred “I am proud of my team”.

The team is 27-9 for the district season and 29-10 for the year.

“We (team) rose to adversity and we are grateful for all our accomplishments”, said Alfred.

Varsity will play Bullard at TJC Monday at 6:00 in the Regional Quarterfinals.
