Seniors Katelyn Trombley and Sydney Balderrama both signed for softball. Trombley signed for LeTourneau University in Longview; Balderrama signed to NorthEastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

“I am very blessed to be able to continue my softball career at a college level, this will allow me to experience new opportunities,” said Trombley.

The athletics will both leave East Texas and begin their journey in the fall of 2017.

“I have worked hard for the past eight years to get where I am now and I am thankful to be getting to play softball in college,” said Balderrama.

All coaches look forward to their success in this year and the future.

“Both have put in a lot of work in and out of school, they have earned their place on their future teams,” said Coach Andrews.
