On November 17th, Hanna Vale and Caleb Otte traveled to Hallsville after advancing to the Pre-Area UIL Choir competition in hopes of making it to Area.

Vale placed 7th chair Soprano 1, and Otte placed 1st chair Tenor 2. Choir director Vincent Flieder confirmed that Otte will now be advancing to the January Area competition at Texas A&M in Commerce.

“It’s very exciting to have done so well”, said Otte.  “I’ve got a lot of work to do to advance in the round.”
