The Chapel Hill Cross Country team competed in the district meet, Tuesday, October 18th. Trenton Granberry finished 17th out of 27 runners in the JV boys division.

The JV girls team of Esmarelda Macias, Jailen Perez, Karen Alvarado, Calyn Mooney, Stacy Leon, and Cheyli Perez finished 4th out of 6 teams.

The Varsity girls team of Desiree Tillman, Keyera Quezada, Neymi Espinoza, Haydee Gutierrez, Emily Henry, Dora Moreno, and Kassidy Mumphree finished 5th out of 6 teams.

The varsity boys team of Joseph Miller, Gadiel Leon, Gustavo Mendez, Jorge Gonzalez, Armondo Sanchez, and Payton Wages finished 4th out of 6 teams. Miller who won district in his division advanced to the Regional XC meet.

Miller is the second boy district winner in school history. The Regional meet is taking place Saturday, October 29, at Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie.
