On their home turf, the varsity football boys played Bullard Friday. Decorian Horton scored a touchdown in the first quarter. Jaden Mayfield forced a fumble and caught an interception.

By halftime, the score was 21-20. Hunter Branin scored a 70-yard touchdown and Jaylon Redwine recovered a fumble, on Special Teams, in the third quarter.

“I didn’t see anyone in the open field and I thought I was going to score,” said Redwine. “I was just happy that we gained possession again.”

Andrian Miner ran a long touchdown and DeMarcus Attaway caught a touchdown pass in the end-zone. Chapel Hill’s Defense held Bullard’s rushing game to only 15 yards.

The final score was 45-20. The Bulldogs will be playing at Palestine on the 21st.
