The Varsity Bulldogs played against the Center Roughriders on Friday. Despite being down 21 points in the second quarter,  key plays were made by Andrian Miner, Jaylon Redwine, Jaxon Heckel, Robbie Williams, and LaDarian Hudson. In addition, senior Decorian Horton made two touchdowns.

“I kept on going as if it has never happened “, said Horton. “We [team] can always come back.”

The game was tied 28-28, in the fourth quarter and went into overtime. However, Center got one more touchdown in. The final score ended up being 28-34.

Athletic Director Thomas Sitton said the whole senior class encouraged the team and exhibited motivation and leadership. The Bulldogs will play Bullard, at home, next week.

“I am very excited for the next game. This is a fun group to work with”, said Sitton. “This week will pay off for them”.
