The Varsity Football team played Wills Point at home Friday, August 26th.

After a rain delay, Hunter Branin ran a 50 yard touchdown and an 87 yard touchdown in the first half. “Once I saw the open space, I just went for it and ran. We showed people what we can do”, said Branin.

Another delay occurred due to an injury on the Wills Point side. Bulldogs took a ‘knee’ and participated in a student-led prayer. “We (team) come into every game with a mind set to perform well, help each other, and do our best”, said Branin.

The final score was 26-9, Bulldogs.
