On May 23, 2016  Michael Tang, David Doty,  Chase Miller, and Leo Reyes went to Austin to compete at the State UIL competition.

The accounting team placed second in the state. Tang placed fifth in the state for the individual accounting competition.

“I have no doubt that if David and Chase participate next year, they will go all the way to State and place again, said Cindy McKinley.  “They both are hard-working, dedicated young men who are self-motivated to do well.”
