Track members competed at the State meet in Austin on May 13-14. Karlea Duhon, who competed for the first time at the state track meet this weekend, is the only girl in the last 20 years who has advanced to this level in more than one individual event. Duhon finished 8^th in high jump and 5^th in long jump.  “It is a huge accomplishment for a sophomore to be among the top 10 athletes in the state in 4A”, said coach Aaron Steele. The Chapel Hill Boys Track team came home with some medals, despite the 5 hour rain delay. Austin Railsback claimed the Bronze medal in the 300 Hurdles, and finished 5th in the High Jump. The 1600m Relay team also claimed the Bronze medal with a time of 3:22.89 runners were Jaden Mayfield, Josh Lee, Fred Attaway, and Austin Railsback.
