Saturday, April 9, FFA (Future Farmers of America) students Cheyenne Griffin, Kelsey Griffith, Hudson Daille, Armando Ortiz, Haley Hamby , and Gavin Jackson all competed at the Smith County Junior Livestock Show located on the East Texas Fairgrounds in Tyler.

Griffin won “Reserve Champion Overall” for selling her heifer and received a scholarship totally $2,000. Griffith won “Grand Champion Roaster” for selling her chicken. Jackson, Daille, and Ortiz won “Grand Champion in Ag Mechanics” for selling their trailer. Hamby won ”Grand Champion Horticulture”.
