Cheer tryouts for the 2016-2017 school year were held on Friday, March 4, 2016. The following girls made it on the varsity cheer squad; Hanna Bakewell, Aubrey Elder, Baylee Franklin, Daysha Henderson, Lauren Lewis, Payton Nelson, Caroline Onwuzu, Ryane Read, Karmya Roberts, Ahslinn Vega, Keely Walters, and Kaylor Williams. For next years junior varsity team, Shanice Adams, Elena Fults, Kaitlyn King, Bailey Richardson, Kierstin Ross, and Starla Starks will be cheering. Finally for the freshman cheer team, KaDreuna Fields, Kyndel Fuller, Katherine Harris, Brittley Maddox, Amauri Thomas, and Reagan Walker will be cheering along the bulldog athletics. Karlea Duhon and Hannah Mayfield will be the bulldog mascots for the 2016-2017 school year.
