Sophomore Collegiate students visit Baylor University

Early College Sophomores traveled to Waco, Texas on September 20, 2015 to visit the Baylor University.

Early College is a program where students are able to attend college at TJC for free. If they complete their classes with all their credits for the courses, they will receive an Associate’s degree by the time they graduate high school. The trip gave the students a look into what a university is and how it works.

They split up into two groups with a tour guide to take a look of the campus. Afterwards, the students ate at the Baylor University Dining Hall.

Administration hoped that some of the students will attend the university.
