Varsity football traveled to Palestine on October 16, 2015 to face off in the second district match-up. Kaleb Golden took over on a defensive drive with a 65-yard interception return for a touchdown. On the final offensive drive, Hunter Branin raced his way to the end zone on a 69-yard run for his first varsity touchdown. Branin’s touchdown pushed the Bulldogs up to a 39 point lead, leaving 2:55 on the clock. The Varisty boys take on the Kilgore Bulldogs in the third district game, also referred to as the “Battle for 31”, on October 23 at 7:30, rain or shine.
