The high school campus earned 7 out of 7 academic distinctions on the 2015 Accountability Ratings. A united effort from parents, students and staff helped the high school become 1 of the 153 campuses who obtained distinguished distinctions in all 7 categories. In 2015, 4,388 of the over 8,600 campuses achieved the ‘Met Standard’ rating and earned some type of distinction designation. However, only 153 high schools, middle schools and junior high schools earned all seven distinction designations. Commissioner of Education, Michael Williams said, “Earning any type of distinction under the state accountability system is commendable and should be a source of ride in the community. Achieving all seven distinctions reflects EXTRAORDINARY work taking place on a campus while affirming a strong commitment to students.”
