On November 12th, there was a UIL practice meet at Whitehouse High School. Four students including Alesha Lewis brought home medals and placed.

David Doty recieved 1st in accounting, Isis Cosette De La Garza got 4th in current issues, Alesha won 3rd in persuasive speaking and 6th in Lincoln Douglas Debate, and Vanessa Gonzalez placed 6th in computer applications.

“I felt that we all tried our hardest and it was a good first meet,” said Gonzales. “I really think we’ll be ready when District comes along to move on successfully.”
